Autobiographical Narrative:
My name is Rosa Lule and I was born in Lindsay California on December, 1997. I am the youngest out of five and as most would say the baby of the family. I am the daughter of two hardworking parents who have always supported me on every decision I ever made. Different events in my life have directed my path depending on the circumstances I found myself in. I have tried to enjoy life through every step of the way and have kept myself focused on my goals and ambitions in working towards my success.
Because I was born and raised in Lindsay that is where I attended school. I went to Jefferson Elementary for eight years since I attended for preschool and kindergarten and all through sixth grade. When I think of the times when I was still in elementary I become sad because I miss the times when I was still a kid and had no worries besides not getting in trouble by my teachers. Throughout the years in elementary I learned and always had fun with friends. While at Jefferson I participated in Student Council where I was secretary officer. During these years I went on many field trips from pumpkin patches, San Luis Obispo mission, and Scicon. As an elementary student I really wanted to become a teacher when I grew up and I would always play with my niece and cousins where I was the teacher and they were the students.
However when I later went to middle school I began to learn many new things about myself and those around me. I started realizing how drama took an impact on some people but I always made sure to stay away from it because I knew that it was pointless. I knew that I was determined to get my school work done but also have fun while doing so. I enjoyed the many school dances and going on field trips while at Steve Garvey Jr. High, I also made many new friends from different schools and had some of the best teachers there. While in Jr. High I wanted to become a nurse in the medical field, I enjoyed watching how they helped patients and made sure they were fine. With all that was going on at the time with the whole school system changing I had some difficulties because it was a new way of learning on my own but I made sure to get help from teachers and classmates. The year was almost coming to an end and I was a bit nervous for high school but I knew I was prepared for what was to come.
The first year of high school was very fun for me I participated in soccer, where I had so much fun. I also joined new clubs at school such as FBLA, Spanish Honors and Key Club and had many classes a day. I was so amazed on how different and new the atmosphere was rather than a Jr. High. All through high school I tried my best to get good grades. I took advantage of the Performance Based System and worked ahead of others, I did so by staying organized and setting my own deadlines. This has helped me because it is something that I will need to get use to when going on to college. To me high school has been all great while making memories with friends whether it's by telling a joke or going to football games, even during soccer practice when we had to run many laps it was always fun with my teammates. I later got a I got a job after school hours, I am now currently working with the STARS after school program everyday after school where I help elementary students with any homework troubles. Due to attending school and work at the same time, it has seemed to me like how my life will be like in a couple of months. I am preparing myself for what will come.
I now know that as future career I want to help people, because helping people is something I truly enjoy. The fact that I am improving and making an impact in somebody's life makes me feel good because I know that they are getting the help they need and that I am able to be a part of that process. I am now thinking of majoring in sociology and or nursing because I am sure that helping people is what I want to do for the rest of my life. In the next couple of months my life will change but I know that I will succeed in whatever life throws my way.
